5 of 6 people found the following review helpful....it generates a fair amount of RF interference. If you use this in a car, you can pretty much expect that your AM radio reception will be significantly compromised, and if you use it to power a CD power or similar, unless the player itself is quite well filtered internally, you'll notice audible buzzing through the player's audio outputs (I have a Sony CD player that is really bad in this regard).It does do a fine job of creating power, and I suppose for the price you can't really ask for a lot of internal filtering. So... the bottom line is that it's a fine product if the aforementioned limitations either don't apply to you or don't bother you.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.I bought this to replace the original adapter I got with a Sony CD car kit 13 years ago, and was very pleasantly surprised by the improvement in quality. The cord is longer to avoid pulling, and is protected by a thick rubber exterior. The orginal cord I had was thin, and while it lasted 13 years, it finally snapped clean off. This current version of the adapter is much more rugged. It works great with my portable CD player, and I'm very pleased.

Product initally worked for a short time then started to work intermittently after a couple of uses. After a couple of days teh product stopped working altogether.
